Visual Basic question

Ok i know that Visual Basic isn't an internet language but i was just wondering if anyone knew how to exit an application without using the X button or using sendkeys "%{f4}". e.g. when the code is finished or an exit button pressed

please help

BTW does anyone know if i can add a Visual Basic program to my site (so that it shows on the page)?

I believe you would need to be on an NT server for VB to work. I'm not sure about the other question though.
