Hello all happy 100megs-users!

I have recently joined the starterplan and I´m very satisfied!
Though, I would like to have suggestions of some useful programs.

I'm running a sportssite and I am tired of creating static html-pages. I have searched for Newsposting/CM programs that could import my current pages in a form of database where I then could call for the pages in a easy way. :)

Does anybody have such a suggestion?
I have let flatfile-db out of thought.

With kindly regards,
Patricken

I don't know if it's what your looking for, but what about phpnuke, or geeklog? They are news/story/community programs written in PHP and mySQL.

You can can check them at phpnuke.org, and phpgeek.com, I think those are right.

Be careful with phpnuke. FB is thinking about quitting support for the package. If a newslog is what you are looking for you might want to try PostNuke (www.postnuke.com (http://www.postnuke.com) )

I use postnuke and have been very happy with it. There is a very large, active group of developers working on the project and the support is wonderful. upgrades are coming pretty regularly and they are now working on a templating system to help format the pages. It's a great tool.

Good Luck,
Jasper

Cool I might look into those app's too, dynamic content is always good to have as long as it doesn't kill the old bandwidth, or take forever to load up.

Are the sites public domain as it relates to the images/articles? I wouldn't
want to break anyone's copyright, as I am a struggling photog myself and
it really pisses me off when someone tries to use one of my images for
their own financial gain or to promote their site/product.

Will check 'er out though. It sounds pretty cool, and hey Mr. Sports Site Dude, I have some good Sports Pics I can send to you for use on your site in exchange for a link to me and as long as you leave the embedded copyright on any images you want to post. Have some good extreme skiing, snowboarding, BMX bike stuff, and other images.

If interested just visit my site to see some samples and e-mail me.
