View Full Version : Question about my midis

I'm having a problem with my midis and am wondering if it's that I made the square to adjust volume too small or if it's my PC. When I first go to one of my pages with a midi embedded, there isn't any music. But if I hit refresh, presto -- music.
These pages aren't here at 100Megs because they're for other people. I have them at Tripod as free web space pages.
Could someone check this one out and hopefully tell me what is wrong?

This is not a technical issue with our services, therefore doesn't belong in technical support forum. Hope you understand that. :)
As far as the midis go, I don't use them therefore can't offer any help.

I had no problems with it. The only thing I can think of is you're not giving enough time for the midi to download.

As a general comment, you're more likely to drive people away with midis than attract them to your page. However, I do not know what is causing the problem :/

Well, the only thing I can think of is that it needs a little more time to load... I'd recomend a preload script (although it's usually used for images)... I think this site might have one: http://www.javascriptsource.com
It might take you awile to find it (It took me an hour and a half when I needed it and quite franctley, I'm too lazy to go and find it for you... :b )
Happy Searching!

Yeah, I agree. I would suggest putting the music in flash and giving it a preloader so that it loads completely before it starts to play.
