STILL having problems : (

I don't get this and I have no idea about telnet...
When I change the chmod in my files using FTP ( I d/l and installed smartftp in case my program was the issue ) it doesn't accept it if i go back to the web to use the files...
ALSO my form is working , kinda, it sends out blank response forms....
I had a friend ( who is unavailable now ) go into my acct last nite and attempt to fix, he did manage to get SOME of it fixed but I still have a few problems....
If you can help me, please email or ICQ me, I am scared to mess with what is almost working for fear that it won't work anymore !

Here are the problems that I am encountering :
# 1 on the message boards ( BOTH - there is one on my main domain at aglimpse.net and one on my subdomain ) There seems to be files that are STILL not set to chmod 0755....When I try to customize the boards, I get the error that the files cannot be written to to save changes.....maybe if you could just be sure that ALL off the files in BOTH bins are set to read/write abilities....I think there are only 2 in there that should have execute, but if they DO have that setting now then that is correct.....

# 2 could you look at the config on the script in my subdamin bin titled "config.pl" and see if it is correct? It sends out a blank email when it should read from the text files "email.txt" .....

I hope that this makes sense.....

Just a thought - Its not only the scripts that need different permissions:

1. The password file and directory
2. The user's data file and directory - these are specified in the config.pl file.

(i know this script works - i have it installed on this server)

Hun You seem VERY knowledgeable about this script....
