I managed to get my forum (XMB) working. Now I have a really dumb question. Where are the posts stored? I guess the real question in my mind is that with folks posting, if the posts are stored at 100megs, won't that eat up a lot of our space?

the sql database is stored on the main server so generally will not take away from your site. (That's why Reub limits the amount of databases you can use with the starter and standard plans.) What'll eat your bandwidth is people visiting and viewing messages on your board since this requires the transfer of info between the servers.

Usually the is correct. If I'm wrong (and often, I am!), Reuben will correct me! :)

Is there anything I can do to make Reuben's job easier, or help keep the server burden down? He's been so nice to me in the past that I want to make sure I haven't opened up a bee's nest for him.

What can you do? Use your site to it's fullest, build an astonishing website, and recommend 100megs to all of your friends.

Don't worry about Reuben's servers. He keeps a close eye on everything and enjoys doing it (for the most part!) Build a great website, use up every resource you are paying for, and when people ask how you were able to do that, send them Reuben's way. :)

Yup, I'll second that vote. As long as you have fun with your site and play around a bit it makes my job easy :D.

P.S, don't forget to tell your friends about us ;)

I do that NOW! Glad to know it helps some. As the parent site for the AKC registered B&T Coonhound, there's no doubt we'll be getting TONS of hits. Our site is linked directly from the AKC's site, so we can count on some serious traffic flow.
