Have you ever encountered something that makes no sense?

My professor speaks rather redundantly whenever he explains redundancy in databases...

I can only understand normalization when I'm not listening to his explainations...

Anyone have experiences along the same lines?

i had one journalism professor that told us we must always be concise and then he would blather on for like 1/2 about some story that would come to mind. it was rediculous and boring .... except one thing he said which he managed to keep short but i have no idea why he said it.

professor bernard: when i was a little kid my mom used to take me to go clothes shopping and she would take me to the husky section. not because i was fat but because i was big in the pants.

that man was crazy. and he called himself dirty bernie too!

Ardabel, you and I were both military...we've encountered lots of things that make absolutely no sense!
