planning to host my site here.

want to hear you opinions about 100megswebhosting.

Prices are unbleliveable but... how about support?

initially it seems this forum really work. does it?

I liked the online manual but there is no live phone support?

UpTIME? DownTIME?

how about a fully MySQL - PHP site ?

any resseller experience?

any problem messuring your bandwidth usage?

Welcome to the board.

Here are some answers to your questions:

1. Support is very good, and you'll see that from Tech. Support forum which to this dat has 2815 posts.

2. Yes the forum really works.

3. Well the support through this forum and email is very quick, so I don't mind if reuben doesn't a live phone support. Average response time for me has been forums posts 5min-1 or 2 hours(when reuben is away), and emails usually within an hour.

4. check this post about the uptime. Uptime (http://forum.100megswebhosting.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=713) . Last week there were some outages on two of three servers, which brought the uptime a bit down, but those were fixed very quickly. They just transfered every site to a new box.

5. Yup, full mysql and php support. with standard plan you get to have at most 10 mysql databases.

6. I'm not using reseller option yet, so I have no say in that. but from what I heard It's pretty good.

7. no problems there too, you can see every thing in Control Panel including Bandwidth usage, raw access logs, web stats, latest visitors, and error log.

Along with all that, you also get to create subdomains. That's one feature I really like. Here's my judgment for 100MWH.

Support is top notch. Reuben never sleeps and he is always patient with us.

The forums work well. Everything works well.

There is no dialup support. But so far I don't think anyone has needed it.

Love this place Reuben, keep up the fab work!

And is it really 1 gig a month? (lol still stuck on that for the bandwith on the other thread)

I'm starting to love this forum! THIS IS REALLY QUCK SUPPORT!

did I mentioned anything about live phone support?(forget it! who needs holds on phone when you have this forum)

two more questions:

each site has it's own IP ?

Wich is the practical difference betwen using a reseller plan and adding aditional domains?

If you ask for a dedicated IP on the sign up page we can give you one.

The reseller plan would set it up so that each site has it's own control panel, mail, etc. with pointing the domains it is basically just adding the extra url to your account without the extra features.

I've had nothing but good experiences here. Support is absolutely fantastic, and everybody on these boards is incredibly helpful (except me, I'm brand new to this).

I highly recommed you give 100megs a shot.:D

this place rocks. the control panel is simply amazing. very simple to use, yet also provides you with everything you need. and the forums are very helpful, people are always here to help you out.

you should definitely consider using this webhost. it really is worth it.

As for the reseller interface I can not speak highly enough of it.

Accounts for your customers are able to be added within seconds.

Support you will not find better anywhere on the net Reuben just does not sleep.

If something breaks it is fixed almost immediately

I would reccomend 100megs to anyone, you will not go wrong :p

If I pay by credit card and opt for a reseller plan, It's mandatory my costumers accounts to be charged to the same credit card? or can I have a different payment for each domain?

Generally what I do is charge it to your main card just in monthly payments. What I can do as an alternative is give you a coupon code for a 25% discount through our payment system. You can then order plans with different cards and i would have to set it up for you.

I have been nothing but pleased with 100MWH and Reubens wonderful support. If not for him, then I don't know what we'd all do :) Even at the times when I was almost frustrated, he always knew how to make things better.

100MWH offers EVERYTHING that i could ever hope to want. My favorites are telnet access (i do ALL my work in unix shells), unlimited subdomains, email, ftp accounts, the support, the large amount of diskspace ( i have the advanced plan ), bandwidth, and sooo much more ^_^

Definitely make this your home, you won't regret it :)

I think its brilliant here :D If you have a question you can post it here and withen a few minutes (most of the time, very rarely it's longer) and the problem is already fixed :D

As for the service itself , it's brilliant! The control panel has loads of options that you can use and its got lots of useful tools - webstats, chatroom, ect.

So thumbs up from me :D

You would need to replace the netnameone.com ones with the ones that we will supply. They would be

ns7.100megswebhosting.com
ns8.100megswebhosting.com

I have three sites on 100megs servers..and no probs so far..stellar service..great responce time to querys...

I am also interested in your reseller plan..I am developing three sites.. hotphish.com, nobodysmiling.com, madu.net(all already on 100megs servers..), and a few I will be launching soon..

also can anyone tell me/point me in the right direction to a good chat service to use for a site i am developing..

Probably the best bet is to send in an email to support asking about the reseller program and someone will send you some info.

Well I first got started on the old 100megsfree service, before there was a 100megswebhosting. Had a little site on there for a long time, and even though it was free, the service was great as I only had one instance of prolonged downtime in the two years I used the service, and that is why I decided to go with 100megs as a webhost. I only wish that I could find an ISP half as good as this host.

The e-mail response time is good, and there are a lot of members in here who
know lots of different subjects and can usually lend a hand. If you want some
help with PERL there will be someone there to lend it. MySQL...there are a couple of people who know that stuff, PHP...they have sample code for you. PhotoShop, we have
some good graphic artists (myself included although I hate to brag) here who can tell you all about transparent GIFFS, advanced Imageready rollover states and color theory.

Beats waiting on hold for "support" from some other hosts. And hey if you don't like them this host has a money back gaurantee, and they actually honour it!
