ftp basics

Previously, I have been uploading web page files manually. However, now I am experimenting with FrontPage and am having a lot of trouble using FrontPage to upload my web files.

I installed FrontPage extensions before I started, and have been able to get through several FrontPage dialog boxes before getting the message that the server at the host cannot be found or is inactive.

This is very frustrating. Any clues?

Well, I received my answer this morning. Apparently, the server (or servers) was down a little early and I happened to be trying to upload files during the move of the data center.

Everything worked great as far as the upload went.
